My Background

StoryLook Design became a reality in 2012 after many years in a rewarding career in various corporate creative department settings. It was then that I made the exciting decision to leave my position as senior art director for Zonderkidz / HarperCollins Christian Publishing.

A good communicator and listener with a genuinely collaborative approach sums up my work style. Creatively inspired by energetic people who are passionate about their projects, their books, their stories, their art—I love to discuss ideas and explore the possibilities in an easy, natural partnership. I approach each assignment with enthusiasm for art and designs that tell a visual story with a clear, consistent concept. I take care in handling each stage with outstanding project management skills, with particular sensitivity to those involved in the creative process.

My husband and I are empty-nesters who enjoy life at our peaceful lakeside cottage with our two spoiled tabby cats. We live 25 miles from the coast of beautiful Lake Michigan, just north of Grand Rapids.
